NIFAA president Julie Lewin will speak at the University of Florida in Gainesville on Saturday, April 5th. The event will be free and open to the public. Julie can meet with other activists and groups in Florida or Georgia on Friday, April 4th; Sunday, April 6th; and Monday, April 7th, but arrangements must be made soon. Contact jlewin@nifaa.org.

Farm Sanctuary hosted NIFAA President and Trainer Julie Lewin at its 20th Anniversary Hoe Down held August 4 - 6 in Watkins Glen, New York. Her fellow presenters were acclaimed authors Peter Singer and Jim Mason, and undercover activist Adam Durand.

Margaret T. Wright, creator and publisher of Nature's Corner magazine, flew from Phoenix to NIFAA's Connecticut office for a private training June 24 - 25. "It was amazing. We all need this," she said.
